Start by registering. Password validation is pretty strict with a minimum of 12 characters. This measure is in place to safeguard the confidentiality and integrity of personal data. Verify your e-mail and you are good to go. After verification you will be logged in and can explore your company's newly made intranet

That is correct, we filled Portal-blocks with dummy text and images so you can directly see how the intranet can be used. You can just delete them when you have gotten a feel for the intranet

Yes there are tutorials available. Whenever you see the following image on the top right of a page you can click it to see a PDF tutorial describing that page in detail

Currently, we have allocated 1GB (1.000 MB) of storage capacity for storing images and PDF files. This allocation excludes database usage, meaning that text input, such as text in newsitems, does not contribute to this data limit. Please note that during the trial phase, this storage capacity remains fixed at 1GB. However, we are considering expanding storage options or offering additional storage capacity for a fee in the future. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we continue to refine our service offerings

The loading time of websites in general are influenced by all kind of different factors. The internetspeed of the home/company itself that visites the webpage, the quality of the hostingservice, the amount of data that has to load etc. At Portal-blocks we do a lot to keep the loading speed of the intranet fast. But, if you wish so, you can also partly control the speed by optimizing images. Not only does it keep your intranet extra fast, you can also store more images this way. Here is how you can do it!

We convert most images to the .webp format which allready saves quit a bit. You can choose any of the following, just click here. It does save between 25% and 34% of space, so that is a good start.
Next we use Tinypng or an equivalent service to get the imagesize down even more. The size can be brought back up to 80% this way.

As an example, the left .png image is 508 KB. in size. The right optimized .webp image is 19 KB. in size.
